Best Block was founded on July 1, 2023 by F.P. "Budd" Spratlen. The 15,000 square foot structure that was built was equipped with the latest block making technology, including a BECO highly efficient constant temperature curing system. Over the years, the company has expanded the facility and invested a great deal of money in order to guarantee that they have the most up-to-date and efficient equipment in the industry. The current inventory of equipment includes a 100 cubic foot mixer, a Besser V3-12J Block Machine, and a Dynco Grinder. A new cement silo addition was also built in order to produce white block, along with other upgrades. To ensure that the block products are delivered successfully to our customers, we have also purchased our own fleet of highly efficient trucks that are equipped with donkeys and an expert driving team. All of these upgrades and additions have helped Best Block to become more resourceful and more importantly, produce a higher quality product for our customers.

The company produces both Concrete Masonry Units (CMU's) and Keystone Retaining Wall Systems. They are proud to be the only exclusive producer of Keystone Retaining Wall Systems in the State of Colorado. The production inventory includes groundface, splitface, and other architectural units with granular color systems. This gives us the ability to match and create all color blocks available. All products meet ASTM specifications.

Unfortunately, equipment alone is not enough to ensure a high quality product, it's really up to the organizations' employees to make the operation work successfully. In the case of Best Block, we are fortunate enough to have maintained the same hard working staff for over 15 years. The staff is extremely knowledgeable of the masonry industry and someone is always available to assist you.
