Brighton - Aggregate Facility
Bromley Lakes Plant

Erected new on this 22-acre site in 1988. It was completely reconstructed and updated in 1995 to provide specification raw material for Ready Mixed and Best Block's production requirements, as well as serve the Brighton and the north Denver Metro area with quality sand and gravel products.

• Mine is an alluvial deposit of high quality sand and gravel averaging 30 feet in depth. Material is extracted by dry process and is loaded by a Caterpillar 988 onto a 4500 foot 36 inch conveyor to a staging surge tunnel below the processing plant.

• The plant consists of a primary 8' x 20' Simplicity triple deck wash screen that feeds a Nordberg HP-300 cone crusher in closed circuit. Coarse material is fed to an Eagle Iron Works 38" x 30' log washer, then to a 8' x 20' Tyler finish screen. Fine material is then dropped into an Eagle Iron Works 44" x 32" sand screw, then blended with recycled fines by a Linatex Model C-1044E cyclone separator.

• All material is then conveyed to appropriate stockpiles for load-out or charging of the on-site concrete plant by a Caterpillar 980G loader. All products are weighed and ticketed by an on-site certified computerized scale facility.

• All aggregates are inspected and tested daily for quality and specification.

• Sustained production capability consists of 650 tons per hour.

• Plant, Equipment, and Operations all exceed the highest standards in our industry as defined by NAA, NSA, DMG, and CDOH. The facility strives to meet or exceed all safety standards as defined by MSHA.

• The site is operated within the parameters of all of today's environmental standards and will be reclaimed as a recreational and water storage facility for the City of Brighton.
